Modi in putting this policy into practice and expanding India's influence.
- Thesisprefer to come outThis paper provides an objective and comprehensive review of the achievements and limitations in the process of adjusting India's Look East Policy (LEP) to the ASEAN Economic Community (AEP) under Prime Minister N. Modi, assessing the impacts of this adjustment on Southeast Asia and Vietnam, and forecasting the future prospects of the AEP.

11.2. Conclusion:
Through research, the Indian AEP dissertation (2014-2020) demonstrated that the cooperation model within the AEP has undergone significant development in terms of scope, scale, and nature of cooperation with regions and partner countries compared to the LEP. This is a new issue in the context of Vietnamese research. By inheriting and incorporating relevant studies, as well as analyzing and presenting new arguments, the dissertation has made a significant contribution to providing an up-to-date and relevant perspective on India's AEP, a study that has not been undertaken before.
Building on a solid foundation of shared values and achieved benefits, over the next 10 years, India will continue to vigorously and extensively deploy the ASEAN Economic Community (AEP) to Southeast Asia, Northeast Asia, the South Pacific, and the entire Indo-Pacific region, potentially achieving more breakthroughs than in the past. India continues to value Vietnam's role and position, identifying Vietnam as a crucial pillar in the AEP to promote the "Comprehensive Strategic Partnership." This aligns with Vietnam's foreign policy of "making friends with all countries," presenting a good opportunity for Vietnam to balance its relations with major powers, effectively utilize the AEP framework to expand its relationship with India both in breadth and depth, exploit India's strengths, and contribute to its international integration process and its goal of becoming a modern industrialized, upper-middle-income developing country by 2030.
12. Future research directions: Continue to expand the scope of research on India's AEP, focusing on: India's efforts to achieve AEP goals through initiatives such as "Make in India," "Digital India," and "100 Smart Cities"; Expanding the scope of AEP to the Asia-Pacific region and integrating it with the regional policies of major powers (Australia, Japan, South Korea, and the United States); Investing resources (political, economic, and defense and security) to participate more deeply in mechanisms, institutions, and forums centered around ASEAN...
