The thesis clearly identifies the factors influencing the Party's leadership in developing general education in North Vietnam (1954-1975), such as: historical context; economic and social conditions; the state of general education before 1954 and the requirements that arose;

This dissertation systematically presents the Party's viewpoints, policies, and guidelines on the development of general education in North Vietnam (1954-1975), while also describing and clarifying the practical implementation process through two research periods: 1954-1964 and 1965-1975.

This dissertation presents comparisons and analyses of the differences in the formulation of policies and the shift in the Party's direction regarding the development of general education in North Vietnam across two research periods (1954-1964, 1965-1975), comparing the 1954-1975 period with the preceding period.

This dissertation examines and evaluates the strengths and weaknesses of the Party in its policies and guidelines, in its understanding and direction of general education in the North (1954-1975), as well as in the entire process of educational reform and national construction.

This dissertation draws on some historical lessons from the Party's leadership in developing general education in the North (1954-1975), contributing to the cause of building and comprehensively reforming Vietnam's education system today.

To serve the research and teaching of the subject "Revolutionary Line of the Communist Party of Vietnam" in universities and colleges.

- The thesis presents a systematic point of view, the policy, the party line in the general education development in the North (1954-1975) also described, to clarify the process of directing the implementation in practice through two research phases: 1954-1964 and 1965-1975.

- Thesis making comparisons and differences in the interpretation of the policy guidelines set out, the shift in the direction of the Party in the development of school education in the North through phase 2 study (from 1954 to 1964, 1965-1975) in the period 1954-1975 and 1954-1975 periods comparable with previous periods.

- The thesis reviews, an assessment of the strengths and limitations of the Party in the guidelines and policies, in the awareness and directing career school education in the North (1954-1975) as well as for the whole of the education reform, the building of our country.
