- The dissertation presented a general understanding, from a Marxist standpoint, of the concept of personality, clearly identifying its characteristics and structure, and explaining the process of personality formation and development.

- The dissertation has identified and analyzed the practical demands for research on Vietnamese human personality, applied Marxist methodological principles in the study of Vietnamese human personality, and determined the basic contents in the study of Vietnamese human personality.
