11. Summary of new results of the thesis:
- Firstly, up to the time of the thesis, research on new directions and new approaches, on the movement and development of the trend of multimedia content creation in Vietnamese electronic newspapers is still a research direction that has not been exploited much. Therefore, the thesis is a systematic, methodical and in-depth research work on the trend of multimedia content creation in Vietnamese electronic newspapers.
- Second, from the perspective of using the Uses and Gratifications theory, the Technology Acceptance Model theory, and the theory of hierarchies of influence, the thesis clarifies the impact of digital technology on the trend of creating multimedia content on electronic newspapers. This is a new point compared to previous studies applying case studies in Vietnam.
- Third, the thesis has systematized and operationalized the concepts of tools related to the topic to serve as a theoretical and practical basis for researching the trend of creating multimedia content on electronic newspapers.
- Fourthly, the thesis has clarified the manifestations of the trend of multimedia content creation in four typical online newspapers (VnExpress, Dan Tri, VietnamPlus, VietNamNet) through the following aspects: technology development strategy; creative methods of applying modern technology (optimizing CMS content management system, promoting the application of AI technology); improving the creative process; exploiting multimedia elements in a diverse, flexible and effective manner.
- Fifth, the thesis has surveyed and evaluated the public's reception and response to the current trend of creating multimedia content in Vietnamese electronic newspapers. Based on the theoretical approaches, the initial survey results show the public's positive reception and response to this creative trend.
- Sixth, the thesis analyzed the issues raised, made predictions and proposed a system of solutions to promote the trend of multimedia content creation in Vietnamese electronic newspapers in the coming time. These proposals have scientific value and are capable of solving a number of challenges such as economic and public benefits, the relationship between technology and people, technological innovation resources, generation gap between journalists and creative pressures in the context of digital transformation.

- Firstly, at the time of conducting the thesis, research on new directions and new approaches, on the movement and development of the trend of multimedia content creation in Vietnamese online newspapers is still an unexploited research direction. Therefore, the thesis is a systematic, methodical and in-depth research work on the trend of multimedia content creation in Vietnamese online newspapers.
