11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:
- Firstly, up to the time of this thesis, research on new directions and approaches, and the movement and development of multimedia content creation trends in Vietnamese online newspapers, remains an underexplored area. Therefore, this thesis is a systematic, well-structured, and in-depth study of multimedia content creation trends in Vietnamese online newspapers.
Secondly, from the perspective of Use and Satisfaction theories, Technology Acceptance Model theory, and Hierarchy of Influence theory, the thesis clarifies the impact of digital technology on multimedia content creation trends in online newspapers. This is a new point compared to previous studies applying case studies in Vietnam.
- Thirdly, the thesis has systematized and operationalized the conceptual tools related to the topic to serve as a theoretical and practical basis for researching trends in multimedia content creation on online newspapers.
- Fourth, the thesis clarified the manifestations of the trend of creating multimedia content on four typical online newspapers (VnExpress, Dan Tri, VietnamPlus, VietNamNet) through the following aspects: technology development strategy; creative methods applying modern technology (optimizing CMS content management systems, promoting the application of AI technology); improving the creative process; exploiting diverse, flexible, and effective multimedia elements.
- Fifth, the thesis surveyed and evaluated public reception and response to the current trend of multimedia content creation on Vietnamese online newspapers. Based on the approaches and theories, the initial survey results show positive public reception and response to this creative trend.
- Sixth, the thesis analyzed the issues raised, made predictions, and proposed a system of solutions to promote the trend of creating multimedia content on Vietnamese online newspapers in the coming time. These proposals have scientific value and the potential to address several challenges such as economic and public interests, the relationship between technology and people, resources for technological innovation, the generational gap among journalists, and creative pressures in the context of digital transformation.

Therefore, the thesis is a systematic, methodical and in-depth research work on the trend of multimedia content creation in Vietnamese online newspapers.
