10. Summary of thesis results:
Based on the general theoretical issues of chapter 1 and based on the results of the survey, research, analysis, comparison, and contrast of portrait articles in terms of content and form in the newspapers surveyed in chapter 2, the author of the thesis pointed out the successes and limitations of portrait articles in chapter 3; thereby proposing basic solutions to innovate and improve the quality of portrait works, in order to promote the strengths of portraits, and improve the effectiveness of propaganda about good people and good deeds in print and electronic newspapers.
The first solution is a solution of awareness because changing the perception, raising the awareness of the press leadership and management agencies and leaders of each press agency along with the team of reporters and journalists about the role and importance of portraits in the propaganda of human portraits, specifically good people and good deeds, is extremely important and is a prerequisite for innovation and improving the quality of portrait works in newspapers today. Thereby, there are reasonable adjustments to special pages and columns to increase the number of press works written about good people and good deeds. The appearance of many quality portrait articles will have a positive effect in spreading good things, suppressing bad things, contributing to improving the effectiveness of propaganda about good people and good deeds in print and electronic newspapers.
In addition, the author of the thesis also proposed specific solutions to improve journalism skills, solutions on financial mechanisms, royalties and solutions for training human resources to ensure meeting the increasingly high requirements for the quality of portrait writing works. For each press agency, the first thing to do is to train to improve professional skills and portrait writing skills. Journalists are not only good at writing but also know many other things such as taking photos, filming, graphics... to produce journalism works in multimedia language and portrait writing works in the form of Mega Story on electronic newspapers. Improving professional skills from selecting and searching for characters to exploiting and verifying information, demonstrating professional ethics and social responsibility of journalists. This is an important factor for journalists to do the right thing and fulfill their roles and responsibilities.
Along with the innovation in content is the innovation in the form of presenting portrait articles in newspapers. In particular, the author proposes a multi-door information presentation, using multimedia languages ​​such as: photos (moving and still images), videos, infographics, information graphics, character quote boxes, etc. The author of the thesis also proposes the establishment of professional portrait reportage writing committees/groups; at the same time, proposes solutions to increase the implementation of many portrait reportage works in the form of Mega Story on electronic newspapers to bring readers attractive "dishes", both new in content and form in the experience of multimedia journalism works.
The author of the thesis also made some recommendations to three press agencies: Da Nang Newspaper, Tuoi Tre Newspaper of Ho Chi Minh City and VietnamPlus Newspaper to create the most favorable conditions for newspaper editorial offices, reporters and journalists in promoting good people and good deeds.

The thesis contributes to clarifying some advantages and limitations of propaganda about good people and good deeds in Da Nang print and electronic newspapers, Tuoi Tre Ho Chi Minh City print and electronic newspapers, and VietnamPlus electronic newspapers.
