Using modern methods of historical science, the thesis sketches the whole picture of land, ownership situation and characteristics of land ownership in Thuong Tin district in the early 19th century. The thesis focuses on analyzing the objective and subjective causes leading to the movement and change in the process of land ownership in the whole district, and at the same time, pointing out the impact of land ownership on the economic, cultural and social life of the district in the early 19th century.
