Summary of thesis results: From the research results of the topic: The role of social workers in improving the capacity of families in caring for and educating autistic children at the Hung Dong Center - Hanoi City, it is expected to conclude information related to the role of social workers with families of autistic children; Based on theoretical research and understanding the current status of capacity to care for and educate autistic children. The results show that families with autistic children face many difficulties in caring for and educating their children, they do not know where to start, and how to support their children. Summary of the findings of the thesis: From the result research "The roles of social workers in improving the ability of families with autism children to take care and educate their children at Hung Dong Center, Hanoi", we can have the following important conclusion regarding the roles of social workers in helping families with autism children. According to the information from theoretical review and current ability of multiple families to take care of their autism children, it is clear that such families are often struggling to care for and educate their autism children as they do not know where to start and how to support their children. The research also identifies some major needs of such families, including: the need for knowledge and skills required for taking care of autism children, the need for professional service to educate such children, the need for a suitable environment for their children to blend in, and finally, the need for empathy and sharing from the community.
