10. Summary of thesis results:
The thesis analyzes the factors affecting the development of manga and anime in the period 1952 - 1990 in terms of politics, economics, culture - society. On that basis, the thesis focuses on studying the development stages of manga and anime with the characteristics of each stage in terms of: thematic content, presentation form, connection with other forms of the Japanese entertainment industry. From there, the thesis makes some comments on the position and role of manga and anime in Japan in the period 1952 - 1990. Accordingly, the development of manga and anime is important to Japan in the following aspects.
First, the development of manga and anime has created models for the development of other types of entertainment industries, laying the foundation for the linking of these types together to create a strong Japanese entertainment industry.
Second, the development of manga and anime has contributed to making Japanese popular culture unique, rich, and increasingly attractive to people from other countries.
Third, the development of manga and anime has brought economic benefits, gradually becoming spearheads of Japan's economic development and at the same time becoming one of the tools for Japan to implement its cultural diplomacy policy.
Fourth, besides the achievements, the development process of manga and anime in the period 1952 - 1990 still had limitations, encountered difficulties in "localization" or encountered conflicting opinions when penetrating foreign markets.
Based on favorable conditions, in the period 1952 - 1990, manga and anime, representing the entertainment industry, developed strongly and had great significance for the development of Japan. That development became the basis for the Japanese Government to choose the direction to encourage and promote the development of the entertainment industry in the last decade of the 20th century - the first decade of the 21st century.

Practical applicability: (if any) Researching the development of manga and anime in particular and the Japanese entertainment industry in general will help Vietnamese policy makers come up with appropriate directions for the development of Vietnam's cultural industry in the coming years, meeting the goal of building an advanced Vietnamese culture with strong national identity. 12. The thesis analyzes the factors which affect the development of manga andanimeintheperiod 1952 - 1990 in terms of politics, economy, culture - society. On that basis, the thesis focuses on studying the development stages of manga and anime; emphasize the characteristics of each period in terms of content, form, and the connection with other types of Japanese content industry. From there, the thesis concludes the position and the role of manga and anime in Japan in the period of 1952 - 1990.
Firstly, the development of manga and anime creates a model for the development of Japanese content industry.
Secondly, the development of manga and anime contributes to the development of Japanese popular culture, making Japanese popular culture unique, rich and increasingly attracting people from other countries..
Thirdly, the development of manga and anime has brought huge economic benefits, gradually making it the spearheads of Japan's economic development and at the same time one of the tools for Japan to implement the cultural diplomacy.
Fourthly, besides the achievements, the development process of manga and anime in the period 1952 - 1990 also had several drawbacks, faced difficulties in "localization" or encountered mixed opinions when entering foreign markets.
From 1952 to 1990, manga and anime, representing the Japanese content industry, developed strongly and contributed to the development of Japan. That development became the basis for the Japanese government to choose the direction to encourage and promote the development of content industry in the last decade of the twentieth century - the first decade of the twenty-first century.

Practical applicability, if any: The study of the development of manga and anime in particular and the Japanese content industry in general can help Vietnamese pursue to give appropriate orientations to develop Vietnam's cultural industry with an aim to meet the goal of building an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity.
