- Clarify the endogenous and exogenous factors affecting Myanmar-China relations during the period 2016-2021, identifying the fundamental factors influencing bilateral relations during this period, including:Exogenous factors (movements in the global security and economic environment); regional factors; the involvement of the US and India in Myanmar); endogenous factors (history of Myanmar-China relations before 2016; the situation in Myanmar and the need for cooperation with China; the situation in China and the need for cooperation with Myanmar).

- Present an objective and systematic overview of the current state of Myanmar-China relations from 2016 to 2021 across the key areas of politics and diplomacy, defense and security, and investment and trade.
