11. Summary of the findings of the thesis: In light of the complicated and unpredictable developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, the thesis can be considered to be the first study on journalists' work performance during the pandemic. The thesis is a piece of research that evaluates journalists' work performance during the second wave of COVID-19 infections in Da Nang from late July to September 5, 2020. I have given the most general assessments about the pandemic situation in the city by reference to the scientific conclusions of previous journalistic works in tandem with conducted surveys of both print and online versions of Da Nang Newspaper and Tuoi Tre Newspaper. Thereby, I propose a handful of solutions and recommendations to enhance the quality of journalistic works as well as journalists' work performance during these times of COVID-19 crisis and high risk.
12. Practical applicability, if any: I hope that the thesis is also a useful and highly-practical document for journalists, especially for those who are working in the context of natural disasters and epidemics. Particularly for me, the thesis will be the premise for my further studies in service of my practical work.
