- Purpose of the thesis: Through surveying and evaluating the quality of current television talk shows in Vietnam, the author proposes solutions to improve the quality of television talk shows. Results achieved in the thesis:
- Clarifying the theoretical basis of the research problem includes several aspects such as: evaluating the role of television talk shows; requirements for the content and format of talk shows; criteria for evaluating the quality of television talk shows; and conditions for conducting quality talk shows. These are important contents that form the basis for surveying and evaluating the current state of talk show quality.
- Through statistical analysis and surveying of talk shows broadcast on Vietnam Television, National Assembly Television, and Da Nang Radio and Television (during the survey period), the thesis assessed the quality of the broadcast talk shows and analyzed the reasons for their success and limitations.
- Based on an analysis of the causes of success and limitations, the thesis proposes several specific and feasible solutions to contribute to improving the quality of television talk shows in the future. These are important contributions of the thesis.

10.Summary of the findings of the thesis:
In the past, when technology was not developed, especially when there are no force majeure situations, people only conduct live talks mainly in the studio. But recently (since the outbreak of covid-19) people began to test and conduct online chats very effectively. Although there are certain limitations and dependencies, but online talks have the following advantages: for implementation, guests do not depend on space (not only domestic but also foreign), the number of guests can be increased, this number of guests can interact with the public, saving costs, saving time for guests. Therefore, it is advised to practice both methods in parallel.
