The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, is a key national training and research institution in the field of social sciences and humanities, playing a crucial role in providing scientific arguments, advising, and critically reviewing policies to serve national development.
In the context of Vietnam's accelerated implementation of policies on science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation in accordance with Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo, the University plans to organize the Hanoi Autumn Humanities Forum 2026 (USSH Hanoi Forum 2026).
The promulgation of the Law on Science, Technology and Innovation (Law No. 93/2025/QH15) and Decree No. 180/2025/ND-CP has created a legal framework to promote autonomy, public-private partnerships, and the application of research results to practice. In line with these orientations, the University has implemented numerous mechanisms to promote scientific activities, innovation, and digital transformation, while affirming the role of social sciences and humanities in research, policy advice, and sustainable development.
Against the backdrop of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital technology profoundly impacting society and national governance, the Forum aims to create a space for interdisciplinary academic and policy dialogue, connecting humanities knowledge with Vietnam's strategy for scientific and technological development and international integration.
