Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Principal of the School emphasized the desire to promote cooperation in the field of Buddhist studies, especially through formal exchanges, credit recognition and implementation of joint programs. At the same time, the School expects the Academy of French and Ancient Literature to create conditions for dormitories, accommodation as well as financial support, in order to increase the number of exchange students between the two sides.

Representing the Academy of French and Ancient Literature, Prof. Tran Dinh Minh - Principal of the Academy of French and Ancient Literature, expressed his high agreement with this cooperation orientation, and proposed to organize short-term exchange programs and expand online learning to create more opportunities for students. Currently, in addition to the Buddhist studies major, the Academy is providing bachelor, master and doctoral training programs in the fields of Life Education, Social Enterprise and Innovation and wishes to sign more agreements with the school for students to exchange in these fields.

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thu Hien, Head of the Faculty of Literature, believes that short-term exchange programs will bring rich academic and cultural experiences to students from both sides. The Associate Professor especially appreciates the initiative to organize a model for students to experience a one-week academic and cultural exchange in Taiwan and one week in Vietnam, considering this an opportunity for students not only to access Buddhist knowledge from two different training environments but also to understand more deeply the social and cultural contexts of both sides.

After discussing and agreeing on the cooperation contents, the two sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding, opening up a comprehensive cooperation opportunity between the two higher education institutions. In that spirit, the two sides committed to strengthening ties in academic research, promoting specialized cooperation, implementing short-term exchange programs and co-organizing many joint scientific activities starting from 2025.
