Regarding domestic cooperation, the Faculty collaborates with universities (Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi Law University, Hanoi Pedagogical University, Political Academy - Ministry of National Defense); state agencies (Institute of Psychology, Institute of Mental Health - Bach Mai Hospital, National Children's Hospital, Central Psychiatric Hospital No. 1, E Hospital, Mai Huong Day Psychiatric Hospital, Academy of Social Sciences, ...) and other organizations (Vietnam Psychological Association, ...). This is an important resource for the Faculty to mobilize a team of highly qualified part-time and visiting lecturers, meeting the Faculty's training requirements. At the same time, this is also crucial for the Faculty's students to have internship and professional practice opportunities at reputable organizations in the country.
Regarding international cooperation, the Faculty collaborates with the University of Toulouse Jean Jaures (France), the University of Gdansk (Poland), the University of Texas (USA), Aix-Marseille University (France), the Marie-Haps Institute (Belgium), etc. Through these international collaborations, numerous cross-cultural studies have been conducted, and many international scientific conferences have been organized. In particular, through its cooperation program with French psychologists, the Faculty has contributed to building and developing a network of clinical psychology practitioners for children and adolescents in Hanoi.
The result of these collaborative activities was the establishment of the French-language Clinical Psychology undergraduate program in October 2001, creating a completely different character compared to other psychology programs at universities nationwide. Thus, it can be said that the Faculty of Psychology, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, is a pioneering institution leading the way in providing undergraduate clinical psychology training in Vietnam.
