Collaborative activities

Regarding domestic cooperation, the Faculty cooperates with universities (Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi Law University, Hanoi Pedagogical University, Academy of Politics - Ministry of National Defense); state agencies (Institute of Psychology, Institute of Mental Health - Bach Mai Hospital, National Children's Hospital, Central Psychiatric Hospital 1, Hospital E, Mai Huong Daytime Psychiatric Hospital, Academy of Social Sciences, ...) and other organizations (Vietnam Psychology Association, ...). This is an important resource for the Faculty to mobilize a team of highly qualified part-time lecturers and guest lecturers, meeting the training requirements of the Faculty. At the same time, this is also the key for the Faculty's students to have opportunities to practice and practice at prestigious organizations in the country.
Regarding international cooperation, the Faculty has cooperated with Toulouse Jean Jaures University (France), Gdansk University (Poland), Texas University (USA), Aix-Marseille University (France), Marie-Haps Institute (Belgium), etc. Through international cooperation, many cross-cultural studies have been conducted, many international scientific conferences have been organized. In particular, with the cooperation program with French psychologists, the Faculty has contributed to building and developing a network of child and adolescent clinical psychologists in Hanoi.
The result of these cooperative activities was the establishment of the French-language undergraduate major in Clinical Psychology in October 2001, creating a completely different nuance compared to other Psychology training programs at universities nationwide. Thus, it can be said that the Faculty of Psychology, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU is a pioneer and leader in training clinical psychology practice at the undergraduate level in Vietnam.
