The USSH team of experts participating in the training included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Van Hung, MSc. Tran Duc Hoa, and MSc. Dang Tran Long, providing updated content on research methods, international publications, and the application of AI throughout the entire scientific research process. The program was designed with a practical focus, linked to the need to enhance the research and international publication capabilities of lecturers and researchers in the context of digital transformation and the rapid development of artificial intelligence.
The training course lasted two days and covered four main topics, encompassing the entire scientific research process from idea generation to international publication. The program focused on core issues such as: standard research procedures and international publication requirements; the application of AI in identifying research problems, formulating objectives, questions, and hypotheses; literature search and review; quantitative and qualitative data analysis using AI; as well as support in writing scientific papers, selecting appropriate journals, and responding to peer reviewers' comments.

Overview of the training course
In addition to theoretical content, the program dedicates significant time to practical activities, allowing students to directly experience AI tools in each stage of scientific research. Illustrative examples and real-world scenarios are designed to meet research needs in the fields of social sciences, public administration, and governance, thereby helping students gradually improve their research and international publication capabilities in the context of digital transformation.
Associate Professor Dr. Do Van Hung – Head of the Department of Information Management – emphasized that artificial intelligence is opening up many new opportunities for scientific research, acting as an extension of scientists in international publications. However, AI only truly demonstrates its value when used as a supporting tool, not as a replacement for academic thinking, critical thinking skills, and the responsibility of researchers.

The training course also conveyed to participants the message of continuing to promote international publications with the support of AI, while particularly emphasizing research ethics, academic integrity, and the responsible use of AI. In the context of AI's increasing application in education and research, adherence to standards of transparency, citations, copyright, data protection, and scientific integrity is a prerequisite for ensuring the quality and credibility of research works in the international academic environment.
In his closing remarks at the training course, Dr. Hoang Ngoc Hai, Deputy Director of the Academy of Public Administration and Management, highly appreciated the professional quality, practicality, and effectiveness of the program. He also expressed his gratitude to the experts from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities for their enthusiastic sharing of knowledge and experience and for directly guiding the trainees throughout the course. Dr. Hoang Ngoc Hai emphasized the need to continue implementing similar and more in-depth training programs on scientific research, international publications, and the application of AI in training and research. He also expressed his hope that the two units will strengthen cooperation in the fields of training, scientific research, digital transformation, and AI capacity development, contributing to improving the quality of human resources and the academic standing of both the Academy of Public Administration and Management and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
