In the context of digital transformation, globalization, and profound changes in socio-economic life, the need for human resources with critical thinking, social analytical skills, cultural understanding, and interdisciplinary adaptability is becoming increasingly urgent. These are also the core values that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has consistently pursued throughout its nearly 80 years of development.
This year's admissions season, the university continues to offer a diverse range of programs in the social sciences and humanities, from traditional fields that have built the university's reputation such as Journalism, Literature, History, Philosophy, International Studies, and Linguistics, to fields that are attracting significant societal interest such as Psychology, Public Relations, Hotel Management, Tourism and Travel Service Management, Korean Studies, Japanese Studies, Film, and Popular Arts.
Beyond providing a foundation of in-depth knowledge, the training programs at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities are increasingly designed in an interdisciplinary direction, enhancing professional skills, foreign languages, digital technology, and international integration capabilities. Students are given opportunities to participate in scientific research and internships from an early age, while also having the chance to study in a dynamic academic environment with a wide network of collaborations with universities, organizations, and businesses both domestically and internationally.
A highlight of the school's training program is the opportunity to pursue a double degree. After fulfilling the required academic conditions, students can enroll in a second program in a different field, thereby expanding their knowledge, increasing their career adaptability, and enhancing their competitiveness in the job market. Upon completing the program in both fields, students will be awarded two official bachelor's degrees.
