The program was implemented under the direction of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the University, demonstrating the care and appreciation for the contributions of the staff, faculty, and employees in the process of building and developing the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
Although the gifts may not be of great material value, they contain the affection, gratitude, and best wishes of the University's leadership to each member of the VNU-USSH family. Through this program, we contribute to bringing joy, encouragement, and positive energy to faculty, staff, and employees in their work and lives.
These gifts bear the unique mark of VNU-USSH.
The highlight of the program is that each faculty member, lecturer, and staff member receives a personalized gift set on their birthday. The centerpiece of the gift set is an eco-friendly bamboo-lined thermos flask, engraved with the logo of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the recipient's individual name.
The thermos flask comes with a beautifully designed greeting card, presented in a matching gift box and bag in the school's traditional red color. Each gift is carefully prepared, from reviewing the list, engraving names, packaging, to noting the delivery time, ensuring that the gift is delivered directly to the recipient on their birthday.
According to the Human Resources Management Department – the unit responsible for implementing the program – in 2026, the University will prepare a total of 502 birthday gifts for 181 male and 321 female staff members working in the Faculties, Institutes, Offices, and Centers. As of the end of June 2026, 219 gifts have been delivered to teachers and staff members whose birthdays fall in the first half of the year. Monthly, the University distributes birthday gifts to staff, lecturers, and specialists in each unit, ensuring that each gift reaches the recipient on the most meaningful occasion.

A birthday gift set bearing the distinctive mark of USSH will be sent to faculty, staff, and specialists in 2026.
From simple joys to lasting bonds.
The thoughtfulness and care put into each gift received much positive feedback from the faculty, staff, and specialists. On social media, many faculty and staff members shared their joy, surprise, and emotion upon receiving gifts personalized with their names and heartfelt congratulations from the University.
Amidst the increasingly busy pace of life and work, as each faculty member and staff member constantly strives to adapt to the evolving demands in management, training, scientific research, and community service, timely attention from the University becomes a meaningful spiritual gift.
The simple joys of birthdays not only provide positive energy to each individual but also contribute to fostering bonds, sharing, and a spirit of camaraderie among members of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
From engraving individual names on each gift and sending well wishes to each recipient to scheduling gift-giving times at each location, the program demonstrates that care is not only expressed through general policies but also through specific, intimate, and meticulous actions.

The staff and faculty were delighted to receive attention from the Party Committee and the School's Board of Directors.
Providing comprehensive care for the staff and employees.
The birthday gift-giving program is one of many practical activities implemented by the Party Committee, Board of Directors, and Trade Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to care for, support, and improve the material and spiritual lives of staff, faculty, and employees.
In addition, the school has implemented many activities to support lecturers and scientists in teaching and research; organized training courses to improve the professional skills of all administrative staff and specialists; carried out an annual health check-up program; and visited staff and their families during holidays or when they faced difficult circumstances.
Cultural, artistic, and sports activities are also organized to improve physical and mental health, while strengthening interaction and solidarity among staff and employees in various units. The school focuses on commending and rewarding lecturers and administrative staff who are professional, friendly, and efficient, thereby recognizing their positive contributions and spreading a spirit of responsibility and service culture throughout the school.
Employee welfare is demonstrated through policies providing professional support and healthcare, as well as motivational activities, visits, and recognition of achievements. Each program contributes to creating a humane work environment where every staff member, lecturer, and specialist is valued, supported, and given opportunities for development.
The birthday gift-giving program is not only a practical expression of gratitude for the contributions of the staff and employees, but also helps affirm the human-centered development philosophy of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Through meticulous attention to detail in everyday matters, the bonds of affection among members continue to be strengthened, creating a shared strength for the sustainable development of VNU-USSH.
