International Yoga Day, recognized by the United Nations since 2014, is celebrated annually on June 21st to honor the positive values of Yoga for physical and mental health and a harmonious, sustainable lifestyle. Rooted in the profound philosophy of ancient India, Yoga is not merely a method of physical training, but also a journey towards the unification of Body, Mind, and Spirit, fostering inner peace, focus, and the ability to connect with nature, the community, and oneself.
With the message "Unifying Mind and Body – Connecting Humanity," the event at USSH is a meeting point between Indian cultural heritage, the spirit of cultural diplomacy, and the distinctive humanistic identity of the University. It is also an opportunity for faculty, staff, and students to experience a meaningful international cultural activity, contributing to the spread of a healthy, mindful, and positive lifestyle.
The program is tentatively scheduled:
06:00 – 07:00: Stage and facility preparation
07:00 – 07:30: Settling in attendees
