In a warm and solemn atmosphere, Mr. An Sung Gu was moved to recall the memorable milestone on January 29, 2010 – the time when he first came to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities as the host of the exchange between the late Korean Prime Minister, the late founding Chairman of POSCO Group – Mr. Park Tae Joon – and the students of the University. He shared his deep impression of the spirit of learning, the desire to contribute and the broad vision of the generation of students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong (Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) expressed her deep gratitude for POSCO's persistent and practical support over the years. Since 2005, POSCO Group has always demonstrated its social responsibility to the academic community of VNU in general and USSH in particular, through meaningful scholarships, contributing to spreading humanistic values and creating strong motivation for many generations of excellent students. In addition to the scholarships to support study, training and research in Korea, students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and VNU also have the opportunity to intern and work at enterprises under POSCO TJ Park.
During the meeting, POSCO Vietnam representative proposed support from the University in completing a special report about Mr. Park Tae Joon - the enlightening and inspiring leader of POSCO Group. Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong expressed her gratitude for this humane project and affirmed that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities would be ready to accompany and contribute to the success of the report, as a gratitude for this meaningful international cooperation relationship.
