VNU-USSH signed a cooperation agreement with Haowen Guilin Inter-level High School, China

On June 10, 2025, a delegation from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, led by Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong, visited and signed a cooperation agreement with Haowen Guilin Inter-level High School, China.
Also attending were Dr. Le Thi Thanh Tam, Head of the Department of Vietnamese Studies and Language, Associate Professor Nguyen Van Chinh and Dr. Vu Minh Hai, lecturer of the Department of VNH&TV.
Receiving the delegation from Haowen Intermediate School were Prof. Zhao Ming, Secretary of the Party Committee and Principal of Haowen Intermediate School, Mr. Xiao Yuan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hongwen Education Group, Mr. Zhou NengGan, CEO of Hongwen Education Group, Shen Zhenping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School, Wu Qiuyue, Principal of Shijia Primary and Middle School, and lecturers of the School.
Before the signing ceremony, the delegation of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities visited the campus and listened to an introduction about the history, development process, training philosophy and achievements of Haowen Inter-level High School.

HaoWen Inter-level High School is a private school established and started training in 2018, training from primary school, middle school, high school and university preparation. The school currently has about 2000 students, each year about 500 students graduate from high school, of which about half (about 250 students) have the need to study abroad at university.
At the reception, Principal Zhao Ming delivered a welcoming speech on behalf of the school, introducing in detail the history, development status and future planning of Haowen School. "As a school with an international vision, we always adhere to the concept of open education and actively seek cooperation opportunities with international high-quality educational institutions. We are honored to cooperate with a leading prestigious university in Vietnam," Principal Zhao Ming emphasized.

Vice President Dang Thi Thu Huong gave an overview of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. She said: "As a leading higher education institution in Vietnam, we are always committed to promoting international educational exchanges and cooperation. During our visit to Haowen School, we heard about the outstanding achievements of Chinese basic education and felt the importance and sincerity of the school in international exchanges.

Dr. Le Thi Thanh Thanh emphasized: "I hope that through the cooperation between the two schools, we can promote exchange and mutual learning between Vietnamese and Chinese languages ​​and cultures."
 
At the end of the meeting, President Zhao Ming and Vice Principal Dang Thi Thu Huong signed an educational cooperation framework agreement on behalf of the two schools. The content of the agreement includes a number of cooperation contents on undergraduate and master's admissions, teacher and research expert exchanges, short-term high school student exchanges, education and training cooperation (including online courses), short-term training cooperation, seminars and other academic conferences, exchange of data and learning information, etc., providing an institutional guarantee for in-depth cooperation in the future.

The visit and exchange activities ended successfully in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Through in-depth exchanges, the two schools enhanced mutual understanding and reached some consensus on cooperation. This not only opened a new channel for the internationalization of the school, but also made a positive contribution to promoting educational and cultural exchanges between Vietnam and China. The leaders of the two schools pledged to hold regular working meetings to promote the implementation of various cooperation issues, jointly train outstanding talents with international vision, and continue to write a new chapter in Vietnam-China educational cooperation.
