Strengthening Vietnam-China cooperation in the education of Marxist theory.

The seminar is a practical and meaningful academic activity, continuing the strong cooperative relationship between the two institutions established since 2019. For many years, the Institute of Marxism, Nanning Normal University, has regularly sent postgraduate students to the Department of Philosophy and Management to study and research Marxism and philosophical issues in Vietnam. Simultaneously, both sides have maintained the organization of international scientific seminars, creating a forum for academic exchange and sharing research and teaching experiences.

At the seminar on June 28th, scientists from Nanning Normal University and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities exchanged experiences in research and teaching philosophy, Marxist theory education, and future cooperation directions. Representing Vietnam were Dr. Pham Hoang Giang and Dr. Pham Thanh Ha from the Faculty of Philosophy and Management.

On June 29th, the International Scientific Conference officially commenced with numerous in-depth presentations focusing on theoretical and practical issues in Marxist education in Vietnam and China today. In particular, scientists from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities presented papers of high academic value, clearly demonstrating the university's research strengths in philosophy, Marxism-Leninism, and political theory education, such as: Building Socialism in Vietnam from a Theoretical Perspective (Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quang Hung); Research on Ho Chi Minh's thought on the lesson 'The People are the Foundation' (Dr. Pham Hoang Giang); The Scientific Nature of Marxism: Methodological Basis and Teaching Strategy (Dr. Ngo Dang Toan); Some issues in the research and teaching of Marxist-Leninist philosophy to Chinese students (Dr. Pham Thanh Ha), Reforming political theory education in Vietnam in the spirit of the 14th Party Congress: from combining theory with practice to developing the comprehensive capacity of learners (Dr. Pham Quynh Chinh).

The workshop not only contributed to strengthening understanding and cooperation between scientists of the two countries but also opened up many new opportunities to expand cooperation in both breadth and depth in the fields of training, scientific research, and exchange of lecturers and postgraduate students.

Building upon the foundation of cooperation established over many years, the Faculty of Philosophy and Management and the Institute of Marxism, Nanning Normal University, expect to continue implementing many practical cooperation programs, contributing to promoting academic exchange between Vietnam and China and improving the quality of training and research in the fields of political theory and philosophy.
