On December 23, 2025, the Council for the Appointment of Professors and Associate Professors of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi, held a meeting to openly exchange and discuss the candidates' dossiers and vote on the candidates applying for appointment to the positions of professor and associate professor in 2025 according to current regulations.

The closing ceremony of the "Global Future Strategy Advanced/Executive Program in Vietnam" (GFSAMP-VN) on December 19, 2025, marked the end of a semester of intensive training, further solidifying the effective international training cooperation between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and the Seoul National University Asia Center (SNUAC), Seoul National University, South Korea. The Woljeongsa Temple Sacred Treasure Museum in Gangwon Province, South Korea, is a Buddhist museum dedicated to the preservation and research of the sacred treasures of Woljeongsa Temple and over 60 other temples in the southern part of Gangwon Province. The museum currently houses and displays many treasures, including the national treasure "Sangwonsa Jungchang Gwonsunmun".

As part of a professional training and research program, a delegation from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, led by Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh (former Party Secretary and former Rector of the university) and several postgraduate students from the Faculty of History, undertook a field trip to visit historical sites, memorials, and museums in several coastal provinces of South Central Vietnam. This field trip was one of the activities within the framework of the academic exchange program between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and the University of Education, Da Nang University.
