I. FOUR SEASONS OF HUMANITY

Humanity is warm all year round

Seventy-five years of tradition through storms and tempests

Together with the country through many hardships

Four seasons of attachment and love

Spring of the country, we build schools

On the Indochina background, the Faculty of Letters developed.[1]

Sprouting the first seeds together

Together we created the General School[2]

Determined, put down books and pens, teachers and students set out in droves

During the war, when the Fatherland needed us, we did not fear danger.

Just keep going and going…

Spirit like a fiery summer

Pen in hand, gun in hand, and a chest full of breath

Determined to protect the homeland

Decided to register the school

Into the heroic history pages of the country

Summary please keep your dream

Unify our country and rebuild our homeland!
 

Fall school season,

After liberation, we have continued to develop.

Many new majors are opening, becoming more and more advanced.

Teachers and students continue to write dreams

And write more pages of poetry for the career

Together with the country "Innovation" with many achievements

Step by step to become University of Social Sciences and Humanities[3]

Many teachers and students together spread the spirit of humanity

In training as well as in traditional movements

Clubs, competitions and then activities

Always imbued with: warmth, charity, love

Discipline and love are the atmosphere in every classroom.

New spring comes after the past journey

School of Humanities transforms into a new decade

Decade of e-learning development

Raise the bar to keep up with the world

More and more international publications in humanities

Throughout the four seasons creation revolves,

Spring, summer, fall, winter and then spring again

Our school is constantly growing.

Continuing the heroic tradition,

Overcoming difficulties and making progress

The students spread out to all regions.

[1]On November 15, 1945, the first opening ceremony of the Vietnam National University, chaired by President Ho Chi Minh, was held at the old Indochina University. The school consisted of 5 faculties (Medicine, Science, Literature, Social Politics, Fine Arts), including the Faculty of Literature directed by Professor Dang Thai Mai, including 10 faculties divided into 4 majors: Philosophy, Vietnamese Studies, Sinology, History - Geography

[2]On June 5, 1956, the Vietnamese Government issued Decision No. 2183/TC to establish Hanoi University on the basis of its predecessors (University of Science, University of Literature, University of Basic Sciences, Inter-Zone IV University Preparatory School), becoming the first university of basic sciences (natural sciences - social sciences and humanities) in Northern Vietnam immediately after peace was restored.

[3]On December 10, 1993, Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet signed Decree 97/CP on the establishment of Hanoi National University, including the University of Social Sciences and Humanities built on the basis of training/research units on social sciences and humanities of Hanoi National University.

In September 1995, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities was officially established, becoming an independent unit within the Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
 

II.NEW STUDENT CONFESSIONS - PSYCHOLOGY FACULTY

Who are you? – Psychology student

Just entered school so my mind is very confused

Groping to understand Humanistic psychology

Go to the website and google all kinds of things

Then I went straight to the department.

Enter house D,

Quite cool guys

The bulletin boards are also colorful and full of pictures.

Then I met very young teachers

Patiently and kindly answered all my questions.

It's a pity I know I am

Has given many stupid, foolish sentences

For example, when there is a storm

… will my school and faculty be flooded?

But the teachers still listened and answered me within the scheduled time.

…

I left with so many things learned.

After third year

Psychology has four majors to choose from.

Clinical, consulting, social and business administration –

Teachers always accompany like friends

Ready to listen, advise… on expertise

I have only studied for a few days but I feel more secure.

When feeling the warmth and constant support of the psychology teachers

I have less worries in my mind

To live life to the fullest for youth
