During his revolutionary activities in France, Nguyen Ai Quoc directly participated in leading and was the driving force behind Le Paria (The Pariah). The newspaper operated for four years (1922-1926), publishing 38 issues with content opposing colonialism and calling for unity among oppressed peoples. The newspaper had a significant influence on French public opinion and the patriotic movement in the colonies.

The newspaper Le Paria played a crucial role in spreading Marxism-Leninism in Indochina and other colonial countries, awakening the oppressed and exploited classes, and marking an important milestone in the national liberation movement in Vietnam and other French colonies.

Journalist Tran Kim Hoa (Director of the Vietnam Press Museum) stated: “The newspaper Le Paria is a significant milestone in the journalistic career of Nguyen Ai Quoc. Therefore, it holds an important and indispensable position when researching and understanding the revolutionary press of Vietnam as well as the revolutionary life of leader Nguyen Ai Quoc – Ho Chi Minh.”

The exhibition, held in the courtyard of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, featured over 40 documents and artifacts related to Le Paria and leader Nguyen Ai Quoc, most notably the "Call to join the Le Paria Newspaper Publishing Cooperative Association dated February 10, 1922"; it also displayed 29 out of 38 published issues of Le Paria Newspaper, with 26 issues (including issue number 1 and the last issue) collected from France.

Associate Professor Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong (Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Director of the Institute of Journalism and Communication Training) highly appreciated the significance of this exhibition on the occasion of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday: "Given the special role and position of the newspaper Le Paria in the revolutionary life of leader Nguyen Ai Quoc - Ho Chi Minh, this exhibition is not only an important activity to help students consolidate their knowledge of the history of revolutionary journalism in Vietnam, but also an opportunity to strengthen the ideological education for students of the University."

Pham Anh Van, a student from the K64 Journalism program, expressed his excitement about the exhibition: “We learned about Le Paria newspaper in our Vietnamese and World Journalism History course. But this time, seeing the original copies and reading specific articles from Le Paria, we had the opportunity to visualize the subject matter in a much more concrete, intuitive, and interesting way.”

It is understood that in the near future, the Institute of Journalism and Communication Training will continue to cooperate with the Vietnam Journalism Museum to organize many thematic exhibitions introducing students and the public to the history of Vietnamese journalism and the contributions of journalism to the cause of national construction and defense.

The exhibition attracted considerable interest from students at the school.
