A brilliant leader...
Quang Vu was one of the Top 12 finalists in the "Humanities Leader 2021" competition organized by the Youth Union and Student Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. After three rounds of intense debates and impressive talent performances, Pham Quang Vu excelled, surpassing 11 other contestants to become the first Humanities Leader.
Pham Quang Vu won the championship title in the final round of the "Humanities Leader 2021" competition.
When the program announced that Quang Vu had made it into the Top 12 of the competition, the young man representing the youth of the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language shared: “I was both happy and worried, and felt pressured. There were times when I even thought about giving up, but with the care and support from my family, friends, and teachers, I decided to continue…”
Quang Vu is an outstanding Youth Union and Student Association officer who has received numerous commendations from the school level to the city and central levels. Currently, he is the class president of K63 Vietnamese Studies, Secretary of the Youth Union Branch of the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language, and a member of the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, term X. In addition to his activities at school, he is also the Vice President of the Tan Yen Student Association in Hanoi, and Head of the External Relations Committee of the Proself Project - a project on Gender Education and Prevention of Sexual Abuse.
Not only did he excel in student union activities, but this young man from Bac Giang also had excellent academic achievements, consistently receiving scholarships from the state budget for three consecutive years and a TOTO scholarship in the 2019-2020 academic year, along with scientific research awards at the Faculty level.
A warm, enthusiastic young man.
As someone passionate about volunteer work, Vu shared: “I enjoy volunteering, and the reason is quite simple: it stems from a desire to share what I can do within my capabilities with those who are less fortunate than myself… In addition, these activities help me see life more realistically, understand where I stand and what position I hold; and know what I should and shouldn't do.”
Pham Quang Vu in his charitable activities...
Quang Vu finds joy in helping those in difficult circumstances in life.
This young man always wanted to spread his youthful energy and enthusiasm through volunteer and community activities. The more he volunteered and helped others, the more comfortable and happy he felt because "when you do what you love, you do it with all your heart and love."
Journeys through the freezing cold with warm hearts...
Quang Vu shared: “During a volunteer trip to help elderly people and children in difficult circumstances, I vividly remember two little girls battling a terrible form of leukemia. Although they are no longer here, every time I remember their words, ‘I will try my best to help more people in difficult situations,’ my heart aches, and tears well up in my eyes. I admire their courage in the face of illness and their compassionate hearts.”
Quang Vu hopes that in the future, you can continue to participate in many meaningful volunteer projects and programs; contribute even more creative milestones to the Youth Union and Student Association movement; and help promote the spirit and positive image of young people and the youth of the Humanities in their training, studies, and useful lives for the community.
Quang Vu is a passionate, talented, and responsible man.
