On April 26, 2024, the Director of Hanoi National University officially signed Decision 1683/QD-VNU on promulgating the Bachelor's training program in Cinema and Popular Arts (pilot training program) and assigned the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to officially enroll students in 2024.

Delight, love and admiration were the emotions of teachers and students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) during the exchange with artists of the Vietnam Tuong Theater right on the school stage on the afternoon of March 6, 2024.

On January 18, 2024, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU-USSH), the Faculty of Literature Trade Union in collaboration with the High School for the Gifted in Social Sciences and Humanities Trade Union organized a screening of the film "The Returnee" and a discussion on "Application of multimedia in teaching the new textbook program".
