"Tuong," "hat bo," or "hat boi" are different names for a unique traditional Vietnamese theatrical art form. As a long-standing classical art form that has existed throughout Vietnamese history, Tuong deeply reflects unique cultural and civilizational values passed down from generation to generation. This is a proud characteristic that not every country possesses. With its scholarly literary language seamlessly blending classical Chinese and Vietnamese script, Tuong is a comprehensive art form encompassing literature, painting, music, and performance, showcasing the traditional values and identity of the nation.
