University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

This morning, November 6th, 2025, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam held a scholarship awarding ceremony for two outstanding students from the Faculty of Oriental Studies, majoring in Chinese Studies.

Within the framework of the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Memorial Complex for Vietnamese and Lao Heroes and Martyrs on July 27th in Xiengkhouang province (Lao People's Democratic Republic), the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) officially announced the awarding of 10 full scholarships to outstanding students of Xiengkhouang province.

Based on the Danko Scholarship Fund Charter between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Chairman Tran Huu Su Group regarding scholarship sponsorship for students in the 2024-2025 academic year, the University respectfully requests the leadership of each unit to widely disseminate the following information to their students:

With the aim of promptly understanding and resolving the difficulties, concerns, thoughts, and aspirations of students, from September 17-20, 2024, representatives from the functional departments of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, held a discussion with over 1,000 students representing various courses, classes, and majors of the University.

This information was confirmed by a representative of the Korea Foundation, South Korea, during a meeting with the leadership of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) on the afternoon of August 12, 2024.

This afternoon, November 13, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) held a signing ceremony for a framework agreement on cooperation and funding with the Dao Minh Quang Foundation for the project "Sustainable Career Development and Entrepreneurship in Vietnam" and continued to award scholarships and prizes from the Dao Minh Quang Foundation to VNU-USSH students.
