At the meeting, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan shared his appreciation for the cooperative relationship between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Korea Foundation over the years, especially in the implementation of Korean Studies training. With the support of the Korea Foundation, Korean Studies has always been invested in and developed. The school hopes to continue receiving the Foundation's support in promoting Korean Studies as well as social sciences and humanities.

Affirming the achievements and leading position of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU in training and research in the field of social sciences and humanities, as well as being one of the two prestigious Korean language and culture training units in Vietnam, Mr. Woo Hyoung Min affirmed that the Korea Foundation will strive to accompany the school in training and research activities. In the coming time, the Korea Foundation will prioritize strengthening the team of Korean studies experts in Korean language and culture training at the Faculty of Oriental Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, continue to cooperate to improve the facilities of the school's lecture halls and Korean studies rooms, support the publication of scientific publications and organize events on Korean culture at VNU-USSH.
The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU and the Korea Foundation will sign the second Cooperation Agreement, affirming the deep and effective relationship between the two organizations over the years.
With more than 30 years of cooperation between Vietnam and Korea, the Korean Government and organizations have devoted much cooperation, companionship and support in the field of education in Vietnam. With the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, the Korean Government and organizations and enterprises, especially the KF - Samsung scholarship fund, have had a comprehensive cooperative relationship in all fields, such as supporting the construction of facilities for teaching and learning of VNU-USSH teachers and students, coordinating the organization of workshops that have brought many good results for students.
Notably, KF - Samsung has awarded valuable scholarships to students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, creating opportunities for them to develop their personal abilities and serve their studies well. In 2023, KF - Samsung awarded 15 scholarships to 06 students of the QH-2020-X course majoring in Korean Studies, 04 students of the QH-2021-X course majoring in Korean Studies, and 05 students of the QH-2022-X course majoring in Korean Studies, each scholarship worth 250 USD.
The Foundation's cooperation and sponsorship contents include: Supporting Korean language teaching, implementing exchange programs for leaders and youth, organizing and supporting various types of performances and exhibitions introducing Korean culture and arts, supporting the publication of books related to Korea in foreign languages, and collecting Korea-related materials and multimedia content from universities, libraries and research institutes around the world, etc.
