University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

Over the two days of December 5-6, 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) organized two intensive training courses on American Studies for students, lecturers, and researchers from nearly 20 universities across the country currently teaching and researching on the United States.

In keeping with the celebratory atmosphere of 80 years of tradition and 30 years of development, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, in collaboration with the US Embassy in Vietnam, officially launched a series of events on American Studies to practically commemorate the important anniversaries of both countries.

On October 24, 2025, at the International Conference Center (35 Hung Vuong Street, Hanoi), the Faculty of International Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, solemnly celebrated its 30th anniversary (October 21, 1995 - October 21, 2025).

New research findings and important recommendations were shared and discussed at an international workshop jointly organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stifung Institute (KAS) on October 22, 2025.

This issue was discussed at the international scientific conference held at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi this morning, April 11, 2025.

The Congress discussed and contributed ideas to the documents, elected the Party Committee for the 2025-2027 term, and adopted the Congress Resolution.

(SVVN) Ngoc Lan had previously won first prize in a school-level scientific research competition and had articles published in specialized journals, before becoming the valedictorian honored by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

On March 6, 2024, speakers from the US Embassy held a discussion on the topic of "Denuclearization and the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and the US" with faculty and students of the Department of International Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH).

The project was implemented over three years and yielded valuable research results.

Internships and practical training are a mandatory component of the curriculum for third-year students in the Faculty of International Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, with the aim of bringing students closer to real life through practical experiences.
