Congress of the International Studies Department Party Cell: Pioneering - Creative - High level - High quality

The Congress listened to the Report on the evaluation of the leadership of the Party cell in implementing the Resolution of the Party Cell Congress for the term 2022 - 2025. Accordingly, as of February 2025, the Party Cell of the Faculty of International Studies has 23 party members, of which 07 party members are cadres and 16 party members are students.
The Party Cell correctly implements the principle of the Party's comprehensive leadership over the organization and personnel work. The Party Cell decides on important tasks in the Faculty. Implementing the policy of opening new training codes, the International Studies Department Party Cell has continued to develop the team for the IDS Department and is building a new training program framework, adjusting the International Studies undergraduate training program. Continuing to implement the plan to improve the training quality for the high-quality training program TT23 of the International Studies major; building the training program according to technical and economic standards and the enrollment results have all exceeded the assigned targets.
Up to now, the faculty has had 16/17 lecturers with a PhD degree or higher, accounting for 94.12%. Young staff are encouraged and facilitated to register or participate in scientific topics, participate in teaching courses in English (bachelor's level); training of young staff continues through many forms. The faculty continues to implement specialized teaching in English from the 2015-2016 school year to present with relatively good results.
The report also pointed out some limitations and causes, lessons learned, tasks, solutions and key indicators to successfully complete the plan and tasks of the new term. At the congress, delegates discussed and reached a high consensus on the goals and directions for the 2025-2027 term. In particular, the Party Cell effectively implemented the policies of the Party and the State, of Hanoi National University and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities; continued to innovate the leadership method of the Party Cell towards strengthening democratic practice and promoting collective intelligence, building a clean and strong Party Cell. The unit's leaders effectively performed the tasks of training and scientific research towards increasingly improving quality; coordinated with the Faculty to continue developing the Faculty's human resources, towards increasingly developing both teaching and scientific research, policy consulting and community service.
The Faculty of International Studies continues to improve its human resources to meet the requirements of building and developing the Faculty; continues to plan the staff and management team; improves training quality, improves teaching methods, enhances the development of learning materials through new compilation and upgrading of lectures and textbooks. In addition, the Faculty also determines to carry out well the AUN accreditation of the Master of International Relations program and open new majors.
