University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

According to Dr. Vu Huong Lan (Deputy Head of the Faculty of Tourism Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities), graduates in Tourism and Travel Service Management are not limited to tour guides; they can pursue a wide variety of other jobs requiring skills, expertise, and passion.

Amidst the strong recovery and transformation of the tourism industry towards professionalization and globalization, the demand for high-quality human resources, especially in the hospitality sector, is rapidly increasing in Vietnam and many other countries. The Faculty of Tourism Studies – University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (USSH) is one of the leading reputable units in tourism training and research, including Tourism and Travel Service Management and Hotel Management.

With two training programs, Tourism and Travel Service Management and Hotel Management, the Faculty of Tourism Studies not only provides students with scientific theoretical foundations in this field but also brings them practical values ​​during their studies.

On January 6, 2024, the closing ceremony of the official survey and evaluation of the quality of three undergraduate programs of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities took place at the University: Information Management, Library and Information Science, and Tourism and Travel Service Management.

On December 20, 2023, a preliminary quality assessment survey for three training programs – Information and Library Science, Information Management, and Tourism and Travel Service Management – ​​took place at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH), Vietnam National University, Hanoi. After a day of reviewing supporting documents and surveying facilities, the External Evaluation Team from the Thang Long Center for Educational Quality Accreditation announced the results and signed the minutes confirming the completion of the preliminary survey.

While in 12th grade, Nguyen Van Nam caused a sensation on social media with his cover video of the song "Let's Get Married." Currently, Nam is a final-year student at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. With his sweet voice and vibrant enthusiasm, even though he's not pursuing a professional singing career, he chooses to keep his passion for art alive in his own way.
