On behalf of the leadership of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, President Hoang Anh Tuan expressed his gratitude to the Thang Long Education Quality Assurance Center for accompanying the University in many accreditation rounds of training programs over the past year. President Hoang Anh Tuan shared: With the rapid transformation and fierce competition in higher education today, accreditation and training quality assurance is a mandatory condition if we want to improve training quality and successful enrollment. Therefore, the University always determines that quality accreditation will become a regular task, moving towards building a culture of accreditation and improvement in the University to further improve the quality of training programs, meeting the needs of society. Through this preliminary survey, the University hopes to receive specific comments from teachers in the Assessment Team so that departments can continue to complete the self-assessment records and evidence of the 03 accredited training programs.

Principal Hoang Anh Tuan expressed his wish to hear specific comments from the External Evaluation Team so that the School can complete the self-evaluation report and supporting documents of the 03 training programs.
On December 20, the Evaluation Team conducted a survey and discussed with the survey units and discussed with the units (Offices of 2 Faculties; Department of Personnel Organization, Training, Scientific Research Management, Politics and Student Affairs, Department of Cooperation and Development, Center for Training Quality Assurance) and surveyed the facilities (including: Facilities serving the official survey of the Evaluation Team, Facilities serving 03 training programs.
Head of the Evaluation Team, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thi Hong shared her joy at returning to the school and accompanying the school in this inspection. The Head of the Survey Team also said: After conducting a survey of the facilities, the Team found that the working room of the Evaluation Team; interview rooms for relevant parties; Waiting room for interview participants; Room/Hall for organizing the preliminary report session on the evaluation results, organizing the opening and closing ceremonies, working rooms, classrooms, halls, practice rooms, common areas, etc. all met the requirements and standards. The Evaluation Team also noted a number of points that need to be reviewed and improved: the internet system to ensure online interviews with relevant parties, supporting documents must be arranged scientifically to ensure convenience for the official Evaluation Team to work, and some links with blank documents need to be supplemented.

Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thi Hong emphasized: the highest goal of the survey and evaluation is to provide the most valuable recommendations to help the School improve and enhance the quality of training programs, for the quality of the education sector in general. Therefore, we hope that the School as well as teachers in the Faculties will cooperate, coordinate, share sincerely, frankly and create conditions for the Delegation to complete its tasks quickly, effectively and achieve the set goals.

As a core unit of VNU, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has always been a pioneer in accreditation and improving training quality. Up to now, VNU-USSH has had 12 training programs certified for quality accreditation according to AUN-QA standards, 15 training programs have been certified for quality accreditation according to the standards of the Ministry of Education and Training. At the end of December 2023, the school continued to accredit 03 more training programs according to the standards of the Ministry of Education and Training (Information Management, Information - Library, Tourism and Travel Services Management). |
