Closing ceremony of the 3rd postgraduate training course in Social Work.

This morning, February 2nd, 2010, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held the closing ceremony for the third postgraduate training course in Social Work.

This course, jointly implemented by the University and UNICEF, aims to enhance the capacity of research and teaching staff in the field of Social Work. Course III has 87 participants from all over the country. The course ran from December 29, 2009 to February 2, 2010.

The closing ceremony was attended by representatives from various organizations: the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, UNICEF, Thang Long University, etc. In her summary report, Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Hoa - Head of the Sociology Department - stated that the course was successfully organized thanks to the students' efforts and the enthusiasm of the lecturers, thereby gradually affirming the importance of this course to the community of social workers and to the social work profession within the social science system.

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim - Vice Rector of the University - assessed: The training program of the third cohort is a continuation and a step towards perfecting the University's training program in a new scientific field, a profession that is increasingly attracting social attention. The Associate Professor also expressed his hope that the knowledge, research methods, and scientific information that students acquire from the course will be meaningful and effective in their individual work environments.

Since the beginning of 2009, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has successfully organized three postgraduate training courses in Social Work.
