On the evening of October 28, 2014, at the main stage of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the final round of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities' English singing competition "MELODY OF LIFE 2014" will take place, featuring 12 outstanding performances that are meticulously prepared in both content and presentation.
After nearly a month of exciting and engaging activities, the final round of the English singing competition at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will be held at the auditorium on the 8th floor of building E at 6:00 PM on October 28th. This is one of the events that has received special attention and support from students both inside and outside the university.
In the final night, 12 contestants with outstanding performances, who have surpassed more than 70 entries in the preliminary round, will compete on the grand stage at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The top 12 contestants come from various faculties, bringing unique colors to this year's competition. The first season of Melody of Life 2012 also saw many performances that were highly praised for their professional quality, but in the second season, the performances in the final night will be more distinctive and diverse in musical genres, content, and creative presentation.
The judging panel for the competition included: Mr. Tran Bach Hieu, M.Sc. – Secretary of the Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities; singer Thuy Dang – top 14 of The Voice Vietnam 2012; and Mr. Andrew Venemore – English lecturer at the center.
ACET, the leader of the multinational band HI Jinks, is one of the judges. The judging panel consists of individuals with considerable expertise in various singing fields, and having closely followed the contestants from the early rounds, they are trusted to provide accurate and objective assessments for each performance.
Held at the auditorium on the 8th floor of building E, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, with a stage capacity of nearly 500 people and a modern, professional sound and lighting system, the Melody of Life 2014 Finals promise to bring audiences a colorful artistic feast.
“Melody of Life 2014” is an English singing competition organized by the English Club of the Faculty of International Studies (FEC). Held every two years, “Melody of Life” aims to create a completely new and bold yet approachable and engaging English-speaking platform for students, contributing to the promotion of cultural and artistic activities among students. “Melody of Life 2014” was launched and organized from October 6th to October 28th, 2014, with participation open to all full-time students studying at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities – Vietnam National University, Hanoi. This is an event that has long received special attention and support from students both inside and outside the university. Furthermore, the competition has also received widespread attention and support from organizations and individuals.
