Student/trainee exchange program at Chuo University, Japan, Spring semester 2025 for VNU-USSH students

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities respectfully announces the student/trainee exchange program for the Spring semester of 2025 of Chuo University, Japan for students/trainees of Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

Details of the Program are as follows:
1. Program name:Student/trainee exchange spring semester 2025
2. Study time:
- For students registering for one semester: From April 2025 to the end of July 2025.
- For students registering for one year: From April 2025 to January 2026.
3. Organizational form:directly at the training facility
4. Benefits:Students are exempted from tuition fees and supported with dormitory accommodation at the training facility (depending on the status of the dormitory).
5. Target:2 exchange students/trainees per year or 4 exchange students/trainees per semester.
6. Conditions for participating in the program:
For undergraduate programs:
- Be a second or third year student of VNU.
- Have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher (4-point scale).
- Have foreign language skills:
Japanese: Japanese certificate JLPT N3 or higher, for Commerce/Science and Technology majors, JLPT N2 or higher is required (for students registering for programs in Japanese).
If the applicant does not have a Japanese language certificate of JLPT N2 level or higher and still wishes to study in the Faculty of Science and Engineering as an exchange student, the student will need to submit: Study Plan (Form C1) in Japanese, Certificate of Japanese Language Proficiency (Form F), JLPT Certificate (if any);
For postgraduate programs:
- Students have completed at least 1 semester and have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher (4-point scale).
- Have foreign language skills:
Minimum Japanese language certificate is JLPT N3 or higher, for Law/Economics/Commerce/Letter/Policy Research/ majors, JLPT N2 or higher is required (required for registered students).
7. Application form:
-Application form for VNU program;
- Transcript certified by the host university;
- Foreign language certificate meeting the requirements in section 6;
- Certificate of admission from the host university;
- Bachelor's degree (for postgraduate programs);
- Study plan (see attached document or link);
- Passport Photo;
- Health certificate;
- Financial proof as required by the partner;
Proof of participation in extracurricular activities and scientific research (if any).

* Note:
Students/trainees save documents as PDF files that have been translated into English or Japanese for VNU to send to partners.
Students save information in the form: *Order number_Student name_File name*. For example: “2_NguyenHaLinh_Academic Transcript” to send to partners upon request.
8. Location and deadline for application submission:
Training units compile and send soft copies of student/trainee records via email address:ipd@vnu.edu.vnand send a hard copy of the application to the specialist in charge (Pham Hai Quang, Cooperation and Development Department - Room A103, Administration Building, Vietnam National University, Hanoi at Hoa Lac)by 10/08/2024 for postgraduate programsandbefore September 10, 2024 for undergraduate programs.
