Candidates note about registering for regular university admission in 2024
10 days before candidates have to finalize their university admission wishes, the 2024 University Admission Choice Day takes place at Hanoi University of Science and Technology (No. 1 Dai Co Viet, Hai Ba Trung, Hanoi) to thoroughly answer candidates' questions about how to choose and register optimal admission wishes for suitable schools and majors.
Speaking to Tuoi Tre newspaper, Dr. Nguyen Manh Hung (Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Training) said that with 20 university admission methods in 2024, candidates have many options to register for their favorite majors and schools.
Up to now, many universities have announced admission results by considering high school transcripts, considering competency assessment test scores... The Ministry of Education and Training requires all candidates' wishes to register for admission on the Ministry of Education and Training's general admission information portal or at the National Public Service Portal.
According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, from July 18 to 5:00 p.m. on July 30, candidates can register, adjust, and add admission wishes an unlimited number of times. All admission wishes of candidates are processed on the system and each candidate will only be admitted to the highest wish among the registered wishes when ensuring that they meet the admission requirements. Candidates who have completed the application to universities according to the early admission plan, if they meet the admission requirements, must continue to register their admission wishes on the system to be considered for admission according to regulations.
With a scale of 153 consulting booths of 39 units, the 2024 University Admission Choice Festival will have the participation of representatives of the Department of Higher Education and universities, including the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, directly answering hot questions of candidates and parents related to this year's admission regulations as well as registering for admission wishes.
