Announcement of the recruitment plan for the high school talent incubation program at Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH) announces the enrollment plan for the talent nurturing program from high school level at Vietnam National University, Hanoi (hereinafter referred to as the VNU 12+ program) for the academic year 2024-2025 with the following specific details:

Based on the registrations of students participating in the VNU 12+ program, the quotas for each major may be adjusted to include other majors.
2. Eligibility Criteria
Students from high schools affiliated with Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-Hanoi)
3. Eligibility requirements for admission
3.1. High school students from specialized programs at high schools affiliated with Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) are eligible to register for the VNU 12+ Program if they meet one of the following conditions:
- Has been and is currently a member of the national and international student teams participating in the subjects included in the unit's admission criteria.
- Won an award in the Vietnam National University Hanoi Olympic competition in a subject belonging to the admission combination of the unit.
- Academic results in the 10th grade were good, and foreign language proficiency met the requirements of the training program.
3.2. High school students in non-specialized programs at high schools affiliated with Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) are eligible to register for the VNU 12+ Program if they meet one of the following conditions:
- Has been and is currently a member of the national and international student teams participating in the subjects included in the unit's admission criteria.
- Achieved third prize or higher in the High School Olympic Examination at Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in a subject belonging to the admission combination of the unit.
- Academic results in the 10th grade and the first semester of the 11th grade: Achieved a good level and possessed foreign language proficiency that meets the requirements of the training program.
3.3. In addition to the cases specified above, high school students from high schools under the Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) may register to participate in the VNU 12+ Program if they are identified, sponsored, and committed to career guidance and mentorship by one (1) reputable scientist in the field/discipline of study, and included in the list of lecturers participating in the VNU 12+ Program approved by VNU.
4. Admission methods

7 Received an Honorable Mention in the High School Olympic Competition at Vietnam National University, Hanoi (only considered for students in specialized programs) + 0.25
8 Recommended by reputable scientists in the field/discipline and included in the list of lecturers participating in the VNU 12+ program. + 0.5

4.2. Selection Principles
The admission score is the total score from the application evaluation, with a maximum of 10 points. Applicants will be selected based on their admission scores, from highest to lowest, until all available slots are filled.
In case of equal admission scores, priority will be given to students from specialized programs and those with a higher average score in the Foreign Language subject.

6.2. Application documents
- 01 Application form for admission to the VNU 12+ Program (according to the stamped template)
- Proof of having been or currently being a member of the national or international student competition team (if applicable).
- Proof of winning an award in the High School Olympic competition at Vietnam National University, Hanoi (if any).
- One photocopy of the Foreign Language Certificate (if available).
- Two 3x4 photos (write your full name, date of birth, and student ID on the back).
7. Tuition fees
- Tuition fees are calculated per credit unit and are paid per semester corresponding to the number of credits registered for that semester.
- The tuition fee for the 2024-2025 academic year (expected) will be based on the tuition fee for students at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
8. Training organization
Students study at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Based on the general timetable for all majors at the University and the specific timetable for each class according to the training program, students register for courses that suit their time and study plan.
