3.1. General Objectives:

Based on an analysis clarifying the scientific and practical foundations of social development management in the context of a market economy, a rule of law state, and international integration, and drawing on models and methods of social development management in several countries, this study focuses on comprehensively assessing and updating the current state of society and social development management in Vietnam. From this, it proposes models, policy directions, and key solutions for effectively managing social development in Vietnam in the future.

3.2. Specific objectives:

- Based on research, clarify theoretical issues regarding social development management, and build a theoretical framework for studying social development management in Vietnam under the conditions of a market economy, a rule of law state, and international integration.

- To research and evaluate social development management issues in several countries around the world in order to draw lessons learned, models, and solutions suitable for the practical context and orientation of social development management in Vietnam.

- To objectively assess the current state of social development management in our country under the conditions of a market economy, a rule of law state, and international integration, considering both achievements and limitations; to clearly identify the causes of achievements and limitations, the challenges posed, and to draw lessons learned in social development management for the future.

- Clarify the factors/factors affecting the management of social development in our country under the conditions of a market economy, a rule of law state, and international integration, including both objective and subjective factors/factors; compare the role and changes of these factors/factors affecting the management of social development in Vietnam.

- Forecasting social development trends and social development management in Vietnam up to 2020, with a vision to 2030, under the conditions of a market economy, a rule of law state, and international integration.

- Proposing a policy-oriented model and key solutions to improve the effectiveness of social development management in Vietnam, meeting the requirements of sustainable national development in the context of a market economy, a rule of law state, and international integration.

4.The main research tasks to be carried out.:

- Researching the theoretical basis of social development management in the context of a market economy, the building of a rule of law state, and international integration.

- Studying the experiences of several countries around the world in managing social development.

- The current state of social development management in addressing inequality, wealth polarization, and social stratification in our country under the conditions of market economic development, building a rule of law state, and international integration.

- The current state of social development management in ensuring social welfare, human security, and resolving social conflicts in the context of a market economy, the building of a rule of law state, and international integration.

- The role of the Party, the State, and the community in managing social development in the context of a market economy, building a rule of law state, and international integration.

- Factors influencing and trends in the transformation of social development management in Vietnam under the conditions of market economic development, building a rule of law state, and international integration.

- This research proposes policy-oriented perspectives for managing social development in Vietnam under the conditions of a market economy, the building of a rule of law state, and international integration.

- This research proposes solutions to improve the effectiveness of social development management in Vietnam by 2020, with a vision to 2030, in the context of a market economy, the building of a rule of law state, and international integration.

5.Execution time,Total budget for the project:

- Implementation period: 36 months (January 2017 - December 2019).

- Total budget for the project: 2,980,000,000 VND.

Specifically: Total allocated budget: 2,731,012,000 VND.

Total non-contracted expenses: 248,988,000 VND.
