Information about the 2017 Foreign Language Exams for Tourism Majors

In accordance with Official Letter No. 610/TCDL-LH dated June 20, 2012, from the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism regarding the authorization to organize foreign language proficiency tests for international tour guides, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities respectfully submits to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism the plan for organizing the examination and issuance of specialized foreign language certificates for tourism in 2017, specifically as follows:

1. Eligible participants:

Those wishing to take foreign language proficiency exams (English, French, German, Japanese, Russian, Korean, Indonesian, Italian, Khmer, Spanish, Thai, Chinese) in the tourism field to obtain an international tour guide license.

3. Registration Deadline:Ten days before the exam.

4. Exam registration documents:

- 1 portrait photograph (4cm x 6cm)

- 01 photocopy of ID card and birth certificate

- 01 Application form for the exam (according to the template)

5. Examination format:

- Comprehensive test (reading, writing, and listening skills): 90 minutes.

- Thematic presentation: 7-10 minutes
