On November 23, 2016, the Ministry of Education and Training sent official dispatch No. 5766 announcing the 2016 Bao Son Award for outstanding research works in the following fields:
- Education and Training Reform
- Poverty reduction
- Sustainable development
- Medicine and pharmacy, public health care and protection
(Each field has 01 best iron project with a reward equivalent to 50,000 USD)
Deadline for application submission is before March 1, 2017 (through the Department of Science, Technology and Environment, Ministry of Education and Training); Evaluation will be held from March 15, 2017 to April 5, 2017 and awards will be given in May 2017.
