The dialogue was chaired by: Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh - Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyen Quang Lieu - Head of the Political and Student Affairs Department; and Dr. Tran Bach Hieu - Secretary of the Youth Union of the university.
After listening to the students' questions and the responses from the relevant department leaders, Professor Pham Quang Minh - the Rector - concluded with the following points:
1. The contents of the Rector's conclusions at the dialogue between the school's leadership and students in the 2015-2016 academic year have been implemented by departments inside and outside the school. The opinions and suggestions of students related to various areas of work have been addressed to better serve the overall needs of the school.
2. During the dialogue between the school's leadership and students in the 2016-2017 academic year, 131 opinions/questions were compiled before the dialogue, and 7 questions/opinions from students directly in the auditorium were compiled and answered.
3. In the coming period, the Principal requests that the functional departments, staff, lecturers, and students effectively carry out the following tasks:
- The heads of the functional departments should research and redesign the dialogue program between the University leadership and students, focusing on inviting those who need to exchange ideas and engage in dialogue.
- Leaders, staff, lecturers, and specialists in the departments and faculties/divisions should spread the spirit of "service" towards learners.
- The departments within the University need to further strengthen cooperation and coordination with units under the Vietnam National University, Hanoi, such as: the Student Support Center, the Information and Library Center, the Vietnam National University, Hanoi Hospital, the Me Tri Dormitory Management Board, the Center for Physical Education and Sports, the Center for National Defense and Security Education, etc.
- Members of the Youth Union and students of the School must enhance their sense of responsibility and strictly adhere to the discipline and cultural norms of the school.
- The Principal urged all staff, faculty, and students to work together wholeheartedly to build a more prosperous university.
