5th International Conference on Vietnamese Studies

Following four previous conferences held in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in 1998, 2003, 2008, and 2012, and with the approval of the Prime Minister, the 5th International Conference on Vietnamese Studies (2016) will be organized by Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in Hanoi from [date].15-18/12/2016Held at the My Dinh National Convention Center, the conference serves as an academic forum for discussing and proposing solutions to address contemporary issues in Vietnam. It also provides an opportunity to promote the development of a global network of Vietnamese studies, bringing together experts in Vietnam studies from various professional fields, with the ultimate goal of forming an international network of Vietnamese studies.

The workshop is expected to have five subcommittees:Diplomacy, cooperation and international integration; Cultural resources; Education and human resource development; Knowledge and technology transfer; Economy and livelihoods; and Climate change. In there,The University of Social Sciences and Humanities is in charge of the content and organization of Subcommittee 1.Information about the conference, guidelines for abstracts, full papers, and registration can be found on the conference website:http://icvs2016.vnu.edu.vn.
