The Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities extends its warmest greetings to all esteemed Professors and Lecturers. Established on August 31, 2015 (operating license No. 155/GP-BVHTT dated May 11, 2015, issued by the Ministry of Information and Communications, International Standard Number ISSN 2354-1772), the Journal is the official scientific publication of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. The Journal is published periodically (4 issues in Vietnamese and 2 issues in English per year), in addition to 1-3 special issues per year.The aim is to introduce new and high-quality research works on social sciences and humanities by authors both domestically and internationally. The journal focuses on and prioritizes publishing articles that are oriented towards openness, creativity, and rapid progress in order to reach and be on par with leading prestigious journals in the region and around the world.The main content of the Journal includes research papers (approximately 6,000 to 10,000 words), book reviews, and scientific information (approximately 500 to 1,500 words), presented according to the structure and standards of a scientific journal.Please see the Journal's Submission Guidelines for more information.http://journal.ussh.vnu.edu.vn.
Since April 2016, the Journal has been approved by the State Council for Professor Titles to be included in the list of scientific journals whose publications are scored in five disciplinary and interdisciplinary Professor Title Councils, including the Law Professor Title Council, the Linguistics Professor Title Council, the History-Archaeology-Ethnology Professor Title Council, the Culture-Arts-Sports Professor Title Council, and the Literature Professor Title Council. Currently, the Journal is also continuing to propose inclusion in the social science disciplinary and interdisciplinary Professor Title Councils.andhumanitiesremaining to be included in the ranking of journals 2017.
The magazine will be published between now and December 2016.Two issues in Vietnamese (August and December) and one issue in English (October), with 1-2 special issues planned (August and December).All research papers undergo a rigorous, professional peer review process by reputable Vietnamese and international scientists, and are edited and revised according to international standards for citations and article structure.
To improve the quality of future issues of the Journal, the Editorial Board respectfully invites authors from Vietnam and abroad, lecturers, scientific staff, graduate students, and doctoral candidates to contribute original research papers (in Vietnamese and English) related to the fields of social sciences and humanities with the following topics:Vietnam after 30 years of reform: Achievements and experiences; Economic, cultural, and social issues of Vietnam upon joining the TPP and ASEAN community; Vietnam's response to climate change; Resolving disputes in the East Sea; Social transformation, values, culture, and lifestyles in the process of industrialization, urbanization, and globalization; Religious and ethnic issues; Sustainable development and regional development; Development orientations of Vietnamese social sciences and humanities; Migration crisis; Social responsibility; Social cohesion and social development...
