Short-term course "The Essence of Eastern Philosophy" - Registration officially open for Course 4

The Essence of Eastern Philosophy is a course jointly organized by the Faculty of Philosophy and Management, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) and Libero. This is an opportunity for learners to gain an overview of Eastern philosophy, from its influence on life, culture, and people; to the philosophical essences from Taoism, Confucianism, Mohism, Legalism, Buddhism, and the philosophy of merchants within the Japanese intellectual tradition.

Expected start date:October 3, 2026 (Zoom Online)

Study time:8 sessions (from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM every Tuesday and Thursday)

Through meetings and exchanges, learners will be provided with fundamental knowledge of Eastern philosophy, a more multifaceted perspective, and critical thinking skills, which they can then skillfully apply to self-management; business management; and high-quality human resource management, meeting the practical needs of today's society.

- Topic 1: The Essence of Chinese Philosophy on Human Resource Management and its Contemporary Application Value

- Topic 2: Religion and Culture

- Topic 3. Taoism - Page: Non-action and following nature

- Topic 4. Confucianism: Ethics & the Art of Leadership

- Topic 5. Mohism: Critical Thinking and Community Benefit

- Topic 6. Governance by People, Governance by Law, Management: A Dialogue with CEOs of Ancient Times

- Topic 7. Buddhism: Mindfulness - From Enlightenment to the Ability to Partner with Modern Businesses

- Topic 8. The Merchant's Ethics in the Flow of Japanese Thought
