In accordance with the 2026 plan and considering the staffing needs of its units, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities announces the recruitment of contract employees for the following lecturer positions:
1. Conditions for applying for contract employment
1.1. Eligible applicants:
- Must be a Vietnamese worker and resident in Vietnam;
- From the age of 18 and above;
- I have an application form;
- Must have a clean record verified by the competent authority;
- Possess diplomas and certificates of training that are relevant to the job position;
- Having sufficient health to perform the job or task;
- Meeting other conditions that do not contradict legal regulations as required by the job position.
1.2. The following individuals are not eligible to apply:
- Loss of or limitation of civil capacity;
- Currently under criminal investigation; serving a sentence or complying with a criminal judgment or decision of the Court; or subject to administrative measures such as placement in a treatment facility, educational institution, or reformatory.

3. Job description for the position being recruited (lecturer)
- Participate in teaching undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs, and supervise, evaluate, and grade theses, dissertations, and doctoral theses, if the qualifications are met as prescribed;
- Participate in the development and improvement of training programs;
- To lead or participate in the compilation of textbooks, reference books, monographs, guidebooks, and the translation of books and textbooks from foreign languages into Vietnamese (hereinafter collectively referred to as books for training purposes);
- Organizing and participating in scientific research activities; writing and presenting scientific reports at scientific conferences and seminars; participating in the evaluation of basic-level scientific research projects and student research projects; participating in international cooperation activities and ensuring the quality of higher education;
- Participating in class management, academic advising; supervising internships;
- Study and improve the level of political theory, professional expertise, and teaching methods; participate in practical activities to enhance the quality of training and scientific research;
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the School or the head of the employing unit.

Commitment to publishing scientific articles in journals listed in the WoS or Scopus databases, as stipulated in the Regulations on working conditions for lecturers at VNU (issued under Decision No. 4326/QD-VNU dated December 27, 2021, by the Director of VNU), after recruitment. *Note: For specialized fields outside the University's training scope but where the University needs personnel for interdisciplinary development (economics, law, English): Applicants must commit to being the sole author or the first name listed on an article (for journals not arranged alphabetically) published in a specialized scientific journal with a standard ISSN or a book chapter published by a publisher with a standard ISBN, within 12 months of signing the employment contract. They must also commit to international publications as stipulated by the Vietnam National University, Hanoi. - Possess strong pedagogical skills. Candidates applying for the lecturer position must have a training certificate according to the professional standards for university lecturers or must commit to obtaining the certificate within one year from the date of signing the employment contract. |

- Certified copies of diplomas, transcripts, and certificates related to the required specialization. Diplomas and certificates issued by foreign educational institutions must be translated into Vietnamese and notarized. Diplomas issued by foreign educational institutions must include a notarized copy of the Diploma Recognition Certificate from the Department of Quality Management, Ministry of Education and Training;
- A notarized copy of the birth certificate;
- A health certificate issued by a competent health authority (valid for 6 months from the date of application);
- Documents and records proving work experience (certificate of seniority, copy of employment contract or work agreement, social insurance book, etc.) (if any);
- Scientific profile according toLLKH form(For candidates applying for lecturer or research positions) clearly state the journal ISSN code for articles published in specialized scientific journals; the publisher's ISBN code for textbook chapters or monographs published, with confirmation from the employing institution.
- Commitment letter (if any).
Note:
Applicants are responsible for the legal validity of their diplomas and certificates. If, after the recruitment results are announced, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities discovers that an applicant has used a diploma or certificate that does not comply with regulations, the University will issue a decision to cancel the recruitment results. Submitted documents will not be returned.
