Literature exam: some candidates have been disciplined.
This morning, July 9th, 2012, during the Literature exam for Group C at 10 examination centers of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities' University Admissions Council, 3,909 candidates participated, an increase of 7 candidates compared to yesterday's registration. More than 200 exam cards requiring corrections were completed and sent to candidates before the exam this morning. The exam was conducted seriously, safely, and in accordance with regulations. Only one candidate at the Hanoi Preschool Teacher Training School exam center received a reprimand for attempting to exchange answers with a classmate. One invigilator was absent due to illness and was replaced by a reserve invigilator.

During a press briefing this morning, Associate Professor Vu Duc Nghieu, Chairman of the 2012 University Admissions Council of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, emphasized: The responsibility of the Admissions Council is to organize the exam seriously, fairly, and in accordance with regulations, assisting candidates in successfully completing their tasks within the scope of the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training. Regarding the new regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training allowing candidates to bring certain audio and video recording devices into the examination room, Associate Professor Vu Duc Nghieu stated: This is a regulation of the Ministry of Education and Training, and the Council requests that all examination centers strictly implement it. Although there are difficulties in checking these devices, it does not mean it is impossible. However, if a candidate brings any permitted transmitting or receiving devices into the examination room, the invigilator is responsible for reminding the candidate not to use these devices as they may affect the examination of other candidates and violate examination room discipline and order. In the afternoon, candidates will take the History exam.
