I. Eligibility Criteria

Officials, civil servants, and other eligible individuals can take the university entrance exam according to the training regulations of Hanoi National University and the current regulations on university admissions for part-time study programs of the Ministry of Education and Training.

II. Diplomas and Entrance Examination Subjects

1. Examination Category: Applicants must possess one of the following qualifications: High School Diploma, Vocational High School Diploma, Professional High School Diploma, Vocational College Diploma, and must pass an entrance examination consisting of three subjects in Group C (Literature, History, Geography) according to the high school curriculum. 2. Exemption Category: Those who already hold a university degree.

III. Procedures for issuing documents

Application forms are issued by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The application period is from July 11, 2012 to September 15, 2012. Candidates purchase and submit application forms at the Training Department (non-regular section), University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi. The application dossier includes: 1. A complete application form with confirmation from the relevant agency or locality, with a photograph attached and a seal affixed. 2. A notarized copy of the high school diploma (high school, vocational school, junior college, college). 3. A notarized copy of the university diploma with transcript (for those exempt from the exam). 4. A notarized copy of the birth certificate. 5. A notarized copy of the priority certificate (if any). 6. A confirmation of employment from the employing agency (if any). 7. Three color photographs (3x4 cm) with the full name and date of birth clearly written on the back. 8. Two stamped envelopes with clearly written address and contact telephone number (2000 VND postage stamps).

IV. Examination Schedule

Examination Dates: October 20-21, 2012. Admission Priority Policy: Candidates eligible for priority will receive priority according to the current regulations on part-time university admissions issued by the Ministry of Education and Training, based on their region and registration category. For priority based on region, it is determined by the workplace, permanent residence registration, or high school graduation location, whichever region offers a higher priority level. (Article 6, Chapter I, Regulations on part-time university admissions issued under Decision No. 62/2008/QD-BGDĐT dated November 25, 2008, by the Minister of Education and Training). Individuals with multiple priority criteria will only receive the highest priority level. Priority certificates must be submitted once in the application; supplementary documents submitted after the examination will not be accepted for priority consideration.

- Study duration: outside of regular working hours, 4-5 years - Study location: University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Fees:

Application processing fee: 50,000 VND/candidate (to be submitted with the application) Examination fee: 350,000 VND/candidate (to be submitted with the application) Fee for exemption from entrance examination: 100,000 VND/candidate (to be submitted with the application)
