The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in collaboration with the College of Radio and Television 1, is organizing the recruitment of students for the part-time, distance learning program in Journalism, course QH-2012-X, with a quota of 80 students and a training duration of 1.5 - 2 years.
Those who have a college diploma in Journalism are eligible. Newly graduated college students must have achieved a "Good" grade at the time of the exam to be eligible; all other candidates must have at least one year of work experience in their professional field.
Applicants must pass an entrance exam consisting of two subjects: - Fundamentals of Journalism and Communication Theory - Types of Journalism
Application forms are issued by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The application period is from July 3, 2012 to August 3, 2012. The University authorizes the College of Radio and Television 1 to issue and receive application forms.
1. A set of application documents certified by the agency or local authority, with a photograph attached and a seal affixed (candidates can purchase these at the College of Radio and Television 1). 2. A notarized copy of the college diploma. 3. A notarized copy of the birth certificate. 4. A certificate confirming at least one year of work experience related to the field of study (for candidates graduating with average or above-average grades). 5. A notarized copy of the priority certificate (if any). 6. A certificate of employment from the agency (if any). 7. Three color photographs (3x4 cm) with the full name and date of birth written on the back. 8. Two stamped envelopes with the address and contact telephone number clearly written (2000 VND postage stamps).

Candidates eligible for priority consideration will receive priority according to the current regulations on part-time study admissions of the Ministry of Education and Training. Those with multiple priority criteria will only receive the highest priority level. Priority certificates must be submitted once in the application; supplementary submissions after the exam will not be accepted for priority consideration.
